Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information E2Soft Tech ([Legal entity name and type], "we", "us") collects when you use e2softbd.com or our hosting, domain, development and support services, why we collect it, and your choices. It should be read together with our Terms of Service.

1. Information we collect

  • Contact enquiries: when you use the contact form, email or WhatsApp us, we receive your name, email address, phone number, the service you ask about and your message.
  • Account and orders: when you place an order or create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, company (optional), address, city, postcode and country, and your order history. Your password is stored only in hashed form.
  • Payments: for manual payments (bKash, Nagad, Rocket, Bangla QR, bank transfer, Wise, PayPal or Payoneer) we store the payment method, the transaction ID or reference, the sender account or number you give us, the amount and the verification status. For online gateways (SSLCommerz or Stripe, when enabled) the gateway processes your card or wallet details; we receive only the payment status and reference, never your full card number.
  • Domain registrations: the registrant contact details required by the registry (name, organisation, address, email and phone), and for .com.bd / .net.bd domains any documents BTCL asks for.
  • Hosting: the files, databases and email you store on our servers. We access them only to provide the service, for support you ask for, for security, or when the law requires it.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, and date and time, which our servers record in security and access logs.
  • Analytics (only if you accept): if Google Analytics is enabled on this site and you accept the cookie notice, Google Analytics collects usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and referral source. See section 4.

2. How we use your information

  • to process orders, verify payments, register and renew domains, and set up and run your hosting;
  • to send service emails such as order confirmations, payment and renewal notices, and replies to support requests;
  • to reply to enquiries and give quotes;
  • to protect the website, our servers and our customers from fraud and abuse;
  • to keep accounting and tax records as the law requires;
  • to understand how the website is used and improve it (analytics, only with your consent).

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing emails without your permission.

3. Who we share it with

We share information only where it is needed to provide the service:

  • Domain registrars, registries and BTCL receive registrant details to register and manage domains. Depending on the domain extension and registry rules, some registrant details may appear in public WHOIS/RDAP records; where privacy protection is available and active, these details are hidden.
  • Payment providers (mobile financial services, banks, Wise, PayPal, Payoneer, SSLCommerz, Stripe) process the payments you make through them under their own privacy policies.
  • Infrastructure providers: our hosting data centre and server providers [Hosting data-centre provider and location], and our email delivery provider [Email service provider].
  • Google, for Google Analytics (if enabled and accepted) and for Google Search Console reports about the site.
  • Authorities, when the law of Bangladesh requires it or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

Some of these providers process data outside Bangladesh. We use them only to the extent needed for the service.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

  • Essential cookies keep you logged in, remember your cart, and protect forms against cross-site request forgery. They are needed for the site to work and cannot be switched off.
  • Consent choice: your answer to the cookie notice is saved in your browser's local storage (e2_consent) so we do not ask again.
  • Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) are set by Google Analytics only when analytics is enabled on the site. We use Google Consent Mode: for visitors from the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, analytics storage stays off until you click Accept. If you click Reject, analytics cookies are not used. Analytics never runs in the admin area or on customer account pages.

To change your choice, clear this site's data in your browser and choose again in the cookie notice. You can also block cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site (login, cart, checkout) will then not work.

5. How long we keep information

  • Order, invoice and payment records: [confirm: retention period, e.g. X years, as required for accounting/tax].
  • Customer accounts: while the account is active, and deleted on request once no service, unpaid balance or legal obligation remains.
  • Contact enquiries: [confirm: retention period, e.g. 2 years] unless they become part of a project.
  • Hosting data: deleted when the hosting account is terminated (see the Terms of Service). Server backups expire on their normal rotation.

6. Security

The site uses HTTPS. Passwords are hashed, secret keys such as API credentials are stored encrypted, and admin access is restricted. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us straight away if you think your account has been misused.

7. Your rights and choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop analytics. Some information must be kept, for example invoice records required by law or registrant details needed while a domain is registered. Contact us at support@e2softbd.com; we may need to confirm your identity before acting on the request.

8. Children

Our services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

9. Third-party sites

Links to other websites (for example CodeCanyon, Google Play or payment providers) are covered by those sites' own privacy policies.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date shows the latest version, and significant changes are announced on the website.
